BEYOND THE VESSEL 2023 is an exploration of musings on mysticism.

Drawings that celebrate beauty and the divine; casting a visual language narrating the inter- connectivity of all life forms. The essence of ‘The Mystery’ is captured through colour, motif and form, within a palette of red, white, black and gold. Character tones that act like blood lines of reverence.

Inspired by Art Noveau, Hilma Klimt, botanical illustrations and Hieroglyphics; the work is bold. Often symmetrical, figurative imagery is paired with solid colour and organic plant tendrils.
